Project Brief
For this history-based design project, I was tasked with researching a designer from the past and creating a piece inspired by their work. The goal was to explore historical design while applying modern tools and techniques to reinterpret a classic form.
Project Solution
I chose to focus on Tiffany lamps, known for their craftsmanship and intricate stained glass designs. I selected this project because of my personal history working with glass and wanted to bring together my previous experience with this new design challenge. I recreated an existing Tiffany-inspired lamp by modeling it in 3ds Max and producing a physical version through 3D printing. This project allowed me to connect historical design with contemporary digital fabrication while integrating my prior knowledge and skills in glasswork
